Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 July 2026
This privacy policy explains how Funded Glazing ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit fundedglazing.co.uk or make an application through it. We are committed to handling your information fairly, transparently and securely.
Who we are
Funded Glazing operates fundedglazing.co.uk, a service that helps UK homeowners arrange new windows and doors with flexible funding options. We are an introduction service: we speak to you about your application first, then put you in touch with a vetted local installer. We are not a lender and we do not carry out installations ourselves.
For anything relating to this policy or your personal information, contact us at privacy@fundedglazing.co.uk.
The information we collect
When you visit the site, we collect a small amount of information automatically:
- Marketing attribution — information about how you found us, such as campaign parameters and advertising click identifiers in the web address you arrived on, and the first page you landed on. This is stored on your device from your first page view — whether or not you go on to apply — so that if you do apply, your application is attributed to the right campaign. See our cookie policy for how this is stored.
When you fill in and submit our application form, we also collect:
- Contact and identity details — your first name, last name, email address, phone number and postcode.
- Application details — your answers to the questions on the form, such as whether you own your home.
- Technical information — your IP address and browser user agent, collected when the form is submitted.
To catch mistyped numbers, the phone number you type into the form may be checked against our systems while you are completing the form — before you press submit. This check is used only to confirm the number looks contactable; if you choose not to submit the form, it is not treated as an application and is not used to contact you.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Contact you by phone about the application you made. When you submit the form, we will call you directly in relation to that application — to confirm your details, understand what you need and explain the funding options that may be available to you. This contact is always directly related to your application; we do not use your details to call you about unrelated products or services.
- Introduce you to an installer. After we have spoken with you and with your agreement, we pass your details to the local installer we believe is best suited to your requirements, so they can arrange your survey and quote.
- Attribute and improve our service — to understand which advertising brought you to us and to operate, secure and improve the website.
- Meet legal obligations — where we are required to keep records or respond to lawful requests.
By submitting the form you agree that we will contact you in accordance with this policy. You can ask us to stop at any time using the contact details above or by telling us when we call.
Our lawful bases
We rely on the following lawful bases under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018):
- Taking steps at your request before entering into a contract — when we contact you about your application and arrange your introduction to an installer.
- Legitimate interests — operating and improving our service and attributing our advertising, in ways you would reasonably expect and which do not override your rights.
- Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information by law.
Who we share your information with
- Your matched installer — once we have spoken with you, we share your contact details and application information with the local installer we introduce you to, so they can contact you and provide your quote.
- Service providers — trusted suppliers who host our website and help us manage applications. They act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes.
- Authorities — where disclosure is required by law or regulation.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
How long we keep your information
We keep application records for as long as needed to handle your application and for up to 12 months afterwards, unless the law requires a longer period or you ask us to delete them sooner. Records kept beyond that are anonymised so they no longer identify you.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- have inaccurate information corrected;
- have your information erased;
- restrict or object to how we use your information;
- receive your information in a portable format; and
- withdraw agreement to be contacted at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@fundedglazing.co.uk. We respond within one month.
Security
Your details are sent to us over an encrypted connection and are only accessible to the people who need them to handle your application. We review our safeguards regularly.
Cookies
We use a small number of first-party cookies to remember how you found us. These are explained in our cookie policy.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with the date it was last updated.
